Visual Music signs band produced in Foo Fighters private studioLos Angeles, CA (Feb 9, 2009) --- An Attractive Alternative (AAA) has just signed to Visual Music. Creative Director/Producer Tom Seufert said "This talented young band is a combination of early Police meets Incubus, plus we had the good fortune to record their freshman EP at the Foo Fighters Private studio." It all started when a single question was asked: "WHAT IF... a three piece rock group of high school seniors who've played together four years were let loose in a private recording studio owned by one of their favorite bands?"
That's what Tom Seufert asked himself a few months ago as he watched An Attractive Alternative onstage at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood. "They sounded great and I thought, what if I could help get their songs recorded in say, the Foo Fighter's studio?" Seufert asked. The next day he called a friend who booked recording studios, who had coincidentally booked Nirvana into Sound City twenty years ago for the "Nevermind" Album. Dave Grohl, currently the Foo Fighter's leader was Nirvana's drummer at the time. That connection provided the entree into the private studio world of the Foo Fighters. Seufert initially found out about the band via his 16 year old daughter who came in one night suggesting he listen to a song on her friend's MySpace page. Now there's an EP being promoted by Visual Music to film and TV music supervisors, ad agencies and trailer companies.
